i want to now if the light in storage compartment, the microwave oven" like all my friends says, only turn on when you open the door. if so how can i put a light there that i can turn on manually.

 

Hahahah me and my friends call it the microwave too.

 

The light in the "easy bake oven" only turns on when the doors are open. I'm not sure if anyone has wired the light up to something like the parking lights so it somes on when they are turned on.

Maybe there is something in the ICE forum. It would be interesting to see if it could be done.

 

I installed a set of three blue LEDs in my car. I put one in each front cupholder and the third one in the "oven". Now everytime my lights are on, my oven and cupholders glow blue. Follow the instructions in this thread: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=35257

 

i have it wired up so that i have one light in each cup holder and 3 lights in the easy bake oven. on of the LED's in the oven comes on when th doors open, like stock, the other two come on when my cup holder lights come on.

 

yeah i did it too with the LED's in the cupholder and "oven". i like it alot now i just need to get around to gettin the cathodes in.

 

Never thought of doing LED's. Me likes that idea! maybe a nice "white" LED would look good in there, hmm....
