Default Tails and options

I'm still deciding on tails for the new TCM. I've seen a TCM on the highway yesterday with smoked crystal tails and they looked pretty good. I've seen some pics here of candied tails and read that someone sells them (Nish or something?) Is there a site or other pics showing those on an Xb? Any other tails available besides the Altezza and TYC styles? I like those, but don't think they'll fit in with the overall look of what I'm trying to accomplish.

Thanks for any info.

I have the Helix Smoked Clear tails on my BSP and get a ton of comments about them. I have replaced all of the crappy standard incandescent bulbs with 15 point LED bulbs and they look great. During daylight hours, the lights are very difficult to see, but at night, they really stand out.

i have them too. Did you have to swap the gasket on the back with the stock one to make them fit?

Ditto. I heard that someone was going to try a small mirror in the bulb reflectors. I saw a small one that looked like it would fit in a dental kit at Wal-mart. Although I have the LEDs in my BOP I am still concerned about getting bopped during the daytime because of the visibility issue.

Yeah, I followed the instructions like a good little boy and used the stock gasket. I even contacted the guys at Helix and they told me themselves that the fitment is much better with the OEM gasket. I trimmed the excess because it was just a little bit long for the Helix fixture. I think that the rubber that came with the lights would have left a gap that could allow water into the light cavity. I even used the two little red reflectors that came with the lights in a vain attempt to avoid being pulled over for non-DOT lighting. (Had to add a little 3M tape to the backs of the reflectors to build up the way the body curves where they were mounted)
