if your looking for noise and some shiny metal, they are equally as good, all the axel back systems are about the same.
if you want to make some power go with a cat-back or manafold exhaust
try:
SPFR
Precision Muffler
Magnaflow
all full systems that are making good power, and not just some extra noise with a shiny tip!

Do manifold back systems eliminate the catalytic converter?
I assume these are not bolt on...they require welding?
Are these type of systems street legal for both smog and sound?
Thanks!

excuse my ignorance about this....but i have a few questions....
Do manifold back systems eliminate the catalytic converter?
-- no, usually they use a high flow aftermarket cat (which is illegal if your car has under 40,000 mikes on it)
I assume these are not bolt on...they require welding?
-- correct, they either clamp or weld on and you have to cut your stock system off behind the cat (for the cat-back)
Are these type of systems street legal for both smog and sound?
-- the cat-back systems are smog legal
and i don't know about the others but the SPFR comes in at 85dB - 10dB below the legal sound limit.
