well this coming weekend me and my buddy are going to start cutting up my xb. were going to completely shave the tailgate french in the plate , shave the taillights and put in supra lenses. what else would you all like to see done

* the other tailight i was thinking about is the cadilac catera led ( the long bar ) and breaking down the leds for individual use

 

I wouldn't do supra lenses :? . I don't think those lights will flow well with the box. But it's your car and your choice. Good luck with it.

 

u know what tiails would be pimp .. the cadillac deville LED tails ... a square look

the supra lenses are going to look really out of place.. not to mention .. they are played out .. that swap has been done on every car known to man

but i cant wait to see pics

 

Corvette lights like you see ppl do on old S-10s and Rangers.... haha


I wouldnt mind moving the lights higher (Focus effect)

 

What about shaving the doors?

 

install or fab up a wide set of fender flares that mold into the doors and stuff.... but not a whole bodykit... u kno..... also the cadi thin taillights,,,, and lastly center exhaust would look hot if the tip is circular...... its been done though not sure if you wanna be totaly origanal/...............p

 

Instead of Supra tailights, why not get two LED strips that they sell in custom truck magazines? They mount between the tailgate and the rollpan (or bumper..depending which is installed). French one in on each side of the rear window, running down beside it top to bottom. You can get them wired so they flash with your turn signals too. I think that's look pretty trick

I personally would like to see someone get a NightRider thing going on in one of the grills...top on would probably work best. Set up with an alarm or just to a switch or whatever.

 

Suicide the rear doors. Rear hatch, hinge to open from right to left. Fully retractable open roof. Hood opens to one rear corner and sits up in a diamond stance. Right-hand drive. You asked...

 

:? Chop the top about 3-3.5" - not quite as much as the 5-Axis job.

 

chop the top with a rake to it like 5 inch in the front and 3 in the back. then do a single inlet muffler with dual outlets that exit just aft of the rear wheels thru the rear skirt. , make a smooth front grill. and shave the gas door and put the filler behind a tailight or the like. maybe some led tails up the rear c pillar. . shave the rear running lightgs u know th ones in the bumpers on the sides. ugly and useless. suicide rear doors . front hinged hood. if i think of more i'll be shure to let u know

 

thanks guys keep the ideas flowin and ill try to integrate as much as possible ... i think we are going to do something with the hood like have a gas shock prop it to a hinge on the side and maybe a custom induction mod ... lemme know what you think!!
