14" to 20" have all been done. Most stick to between 15" and 17"

It's all up to personal preference. Do a little searching around the tread and butter forum for ideas on what you like. 17" look good, but give a harsher ride and cost more in general. Stock size is 15"

It seems like 17+ are the most common of the wheels. There are members that keep stock 15" wheels. Some go with aftermarket 15" or 16". Also some have added moon caps & stuff to the stock wheel to make it look different. There is a good deal of things one can do. As for tires, that goes on how much money you got to spend on a set of rubber.

Anything from 17 inch down retains the stock ride comfort. Anything larger lowers ride and pothole safety comfort.

I am running 17 with 205-40-17 tires and have torn up 3 of them from potholes amd other unavoidable roads, I am going to sell them and go with a 15, so I can run taller tires.

i run 17x7 on 215/40 tires. its almost the same diameter as the stock 15's and has a good bit of sidewall. 18's were too harsh when i had them on. i wanted to go wide 15's but you cant turn these down when you get a chance to buy them :

tires are falken ziex ze512's btw

The more I see those rims the more they look like they mounted the spokes from a 15 inch wheel inside a 17 inch wheel. Kinda like those hubcaps that are 15's and look like 17's

well speaking from expierence as a wheel ***** (not as much as some people on the board) but I have run 15-18s.

18- I had on a single DAY before I sold them . It was ridiculous how crappy the ride was IMO. 215/35/18s rode like poop. I got my money back on them so that was good at least.

17- I had these on forever. 205/40/17s. Rode kinda bad. Wasnt the best, but wasnt terrible. They looked good IMO. I still needed a better ride

15- Stock wheels. Pretty good ride, definetly okay.

Now on to 16s which I'm running now. I have some Work RS- Beta/Ewings on a set of 195/50/16s and it rides well IMO but doesnt look too small. They look classy and dont give up a crappy ride to everyone. I like 16s by far the best. Thats just me though.

All up to you and what you can handle. I'm on Tanabe DF210s so those dont help the ride, but 16s are still best.

i had my friend kevin's 18's on my car for a show while he was on vacation. 18x7.5 +45 (yeah +45 ) and they are on 35 series tires. now i dont mind a harsh ride for handling gain but the gain is minimal and the ride SUCKED. i had to dodge every little hole and bump in the road. im also on DF210 springs. i think if you put softer shock on the back it would make a huge improvement but id stay away from 18's if you could. i wont even go into how bad the braking and acceleration was!

jethro b- yeah thats one of the reasons i bought the wheels the car has tiny brakes i dont need a huge gaping 17" wheel to show mu puny brakes haha.

I have 18" and they ride just fine. I guess it depends on how well your state maintains the road system

Seriously it doesnt ride any worse that my 97 sunfire with stock rims.......
