Default Traded my tC for the xB.

So far im loving it. I like the space and how i sit on the xb. Easy to get in and out of but for some reason i have to shut the door with a little bit of force than when i had my tc for it to shut.. i dont know if thats normal or not.
oh yeah,
my tc was a manual and i got an automatic xb.

why do a lot of people trade in the tC? do you not like the car as much as you thought you would? or do you just prefer the xB?

no, i loved my tc... but it was time for me to trade it in because it had 35k.. i had a dent on the side, time for a tire change.. service ..etc. plus i bought a motorcycle and i wanted to tow it with the xb... i remember seeing an xb towing a bike one time.

oh yeah, i got the BSP

the tC doors are much heavier and longer, so when you start moving them they tend to just keep going.

Congrats on the change!

I was sorta in the same position as you. I wanted the tC but my heart felt it wasn't practical for what I do (haul computer servers and stuff) and the MPG finally took over my mind. 30-34mpg vs. 25mpg for the tC. Not to mention the potential downside of higher insurance and a longer car... (coming from a 2000 accord, i hate long cars)

I traded my tC RS1.0 auto in on a xB manual this past February and only regret it sometimes, mainly the roof and shifting alot. BUT........I have an xB RS4.0 on order, hopefully an auto will come and trading hubby's Tundra in on it, so we'll have 2 xBs. Funny thing is, we decided to trade tC in, thinking we'd have more space on vacations, and I have less. Go figure!
