got an auto, cuz my gf dont know how to drive stick and i wanna get drunk, but regret not getting a stick, since ive been driven stick since i learned how to drive. and now i get bored when im driving.

 

Manual, it's the only way to be!

 

If you got a lot of stop N go traffic you may want the auto. Otherwise get the manual. The Xb manual is a lot of fun to drive. 'Specially in the high RPM's!

I've purchased an automatic transmission with my xb and I love the gear ratio, it's like driving a manual. The overdrive is very useful, more so than in any car I've driven.

 

at times i wish i got manual, but driving to work at 6am on no sleep makes me lazy, got an auto!

 

i got an automatic because it is the only one i could get...i wanted a 5 speed but i wasn't patient enough!! didn't want to wait a month to get it

 

I serously considered getting a 5-speed, but after reading all the auto vs. manual RPM @ highway speed threads, I gave in and got the slushbox.

I bought my box primarily for the look coupled with the fuel economy it is capable of getting. If I had a stick, I don't think I'd be able to get anywhere near the mileage I get now (because I know how I'd drive the stick)...

 

got an auto only because my girl cant drive a stick. Why tea ch her, you know I will be buying clutches once a month
