Sounds like Scion will be buying plenty of those exhaust for many years to come.

Maybe we should start a e-mail campaign to Toyota. There should have been a recall on these based upon the quantity that we read about on ScionLife alone...........

Sent a note:
"I am a regular reader and contributor to the ScionLife website. I am a little disturbed about the number of RS2 xB owners that have had their exhausts fall apart. As you are aware, the RS2 was equipped with a DC sport exhaust. Many owners have had problems with the tip falling off. We as a group are wondering why, due to the number of problems, a recall was not instuted to inspect the welds. Thanks, Dave"

At 1800 miles the tip on the factory exhaust fell off. Went to dealership was sorta rude and said they wouldn't replace because the car was lowered one inch. Then why have I talked to 20 rs2.0 owners on line with same thing. With my wife and son in car it is very loud! This is the aftermarket system DC Sports put on car. This is a show car that is sponsored and would like some help.

I wonder if it's just the exhaust used on the RS2.0s or all of the DC aftermarket systems doing this?

Hello, my name is Marlon Chopra, I am a current owner of a 2005 xB RS2.0 and I have one very plauging question. The DC Sports single canester axleback exhaust that came with the RS2.0 package has been giving me and many other RS2.0 owners a very hard time. We have been discussing this on ScionLife, where I am an active member. The tips of mine and other's exhausts have been cracking and falling off and to top it off, when we take it in for warranty work, the dealerships givve us a hard time. Personally mine crakced 3/4 around, i caught it just in time, and my local toyota/scion dealership tried to pass me off and tell me that it was my fault; that i backed into a curb, a stone must have hit it, it's lowered, it went on and on. Well after much doin and trying i got it replaced. Now I do not want this to happen once my warranty has expired, and this has happened up to four times to other owners, and have no means of fixing it or replacing it. I am jsut wondering, why, after so many RS2.0 owners have brought theirs in, that a recall or some sort of isnpections has not been issued. That is all, thank you for your time, and keep up the awesome work, i love my scion, except for the exhaust problem.
