My first car was a 1980 Ford Pinto, then a 1988 Ford Escort Pony, then a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS...traded it in in 1999 for a '96 Mitsubishi Spyder GST and then traded that in 2005 for our '05 TCM xB!

Though I am a bit embarrassed about the Pinto because my friends use to make fun of it. But when their cars broke down, WHO was the one who jump started them?

Good Question!

I am still currently driving a 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser FZJ80. I have not yet taken delivery of my 2005 BSP xB (as of Tuesday, last week, the xB was still at port).

I am buying the xB for my "daily driver" keeping the Land Cruiser for inclement weather and bike trips, etc. With the amount of driving I do every week, I no longer can afford the 13mpg the Land Cruiser gets.

No more NEW VW's The company to sume it up are VW has never done anything for its enthusiest The enthusiest are cool, and many are like me, and getting into Scion's, the new quality, inexpensive car company.

Are you kidding me? Sheesh, my x-car was a 1995 VW Jetta GLX VR6 black/black leather interior...the only reason why I got rid of it is because it was totaled by vandals...The VW enthusiast clubs are here in Cali, not in Arkansas. There are so many VW events and meets....a fun event was the Golf Ball cruise when I used to own my VW...fun fun times

I know what you mean by VW's being expensive, but so is any other euro car. ah well, I get better gas mileage with the xB and xB's usually have more mods!

....now I'm rollin with NVS!

1997 Dodge Stratus. Great car, and I miss the speed. When my last inspection totaled over a grand, I gave up on it. In memory though, I bought my box in the same color as the Stratus.

On a side note, do you ever wonder who's driving your car now? my first car was a 1991 Ford tempo, black with sliver and blue stripes, droped with a body kit. I wonder who is behind the wheel of that monstrocity now.

2001 Chevy custom van. This was a shop van that was heavily customized to advertise the business. However, after parking it and filling it up for over $50 every week, I decided to park it and get a box. The box attracts MUCH more attention.

Amen I drove a 98 new beetle and it was a piece of CRAP.
and VW did NOT sand behind there cars whatsoever.

I will NEVER buy a VW again.
