Default Who Else Has Problem with Touchers/Leaners

Is it me, or do others have problems with others that have a need to touch or lean on their paint? I find this to be very disrespectful of other peoples property and just plain wrong. Even people that own Scions don't know any better. They lean and sit on their cars all the time. At shows it's a full time job chasing away those that do these bad things. Share your experiences.

I feel ya, I was leaving a friends house one night and these kids were leaning on my hatch and they moved out of the way but... why the hell would you do that in the first place? Man it sucks to know that so many people don't care about others property, especially a car.

And if that little one is gonna go grabbin' cars, give him some gloves and a mit with detailing spray

Yeah, put him to work. Cutie, Will work for Cool Aid. LOL
I often try to think up ways to shock their a$$ when the finger touches the paint.

I've used my 'panic alarm' a number of times to chase 'em off...

What gets me is the number of hand prints I get on the rear window from people trying to peer in. Huh??? What??? Nothin' in there folks, now get off the car!

About two weeks ago I walked to my car only to find junior, dad, and grandpa looking in the windows. They had their hands around their eyes to try and see through the tint. All of them jumped when I disarmed my alarm.

I can't help it. I have a problem with people leaning on the paint and putting hand prints on the glass. People just don't have any common sense any more...and I am mean.

It all comes down to respect for others property. Parents aren't teaching it anymore.

Eh, no big deal.

I would rather birds and stray rocks not touch my paint, but fingerprints I can live with.

But fingerprints with dirt/dust under them = scratches

I've noticed that people will lean on there cars and then lean on mine. I'm quit to say, get yer butt off my car!!!

I do not lean or allow leaners on my xB, not even family/friends.

Yeah, it's like they do it to theirs and feel it's ok to do it to yours too. What is wrong with that logic? If they whine after being told to NOT do it I simply say I don't even lean on my own car, why would I let you?

People are always touching my xB at Shows. They really like touching my dash since it has been sanded and painted BSP I don't understand it, I've been going to shows for 20 years and I've NEVER touched anyones car.

It's like their eyes are decieving them. They must touch to make sure it's real.
