I'm just gettin my xb started since i've only had it for 2 weeks but it has tein s-tech springs and factory cleared corners thanks Jeff. Me and my wife stopped at the fruit stand today and man it really fires me up to see it sittin out front among all the other cars in the lot there is nothing like it. I had a guy tell me last night he didn't like xb's and I told my wife he wasn't welcome at my house anymore.

 

Haha, yes, the xB is quite something. I keep looking back at it whenever I park it. it's addicting.

 

I have people at work tell me ALL OF THE TIME that my xB is really ugly and why did I buy it. The nerve of these morons I work with...
I really don't care what they say cause there isn't anything out there on the road like it...

 

If anyone says my car is ugly I just ask what they drive. It's usually a suv or some other typical sedan. Then I just tell them the're ___s for driving that kind of car. Usually ____es them off but they get the point.

I ran in the store the other day and when I came out I overheard a guy telling my girlfriend that this shoe box she was sitting in was ugly and how could anybody be seen in one of these.... When I got up to the box I heard him say "I just don't get it" I looked at him and said " Your not supposed to get it, that's the whole point" It actually shut him up pretty good. He looked ____ed but oh well what gives him the right to downgrade my car like that.

 

Thanks for the replies I love it. I had a 07 crew cab silverado before I got my salsaxb and people say man why did you get rid of the chevy. First I look at them crazy then I say 1. Better on gas 2. cheaper monthly payment.3 cheaper insuraance. if they still look puzzled I tell them they can start paying the 500.00 a month truck note and insurance and I will rush back to the Toyota store and trade it back in. By this time they have a confused look on there face and say: what is that. I reply with hey man it's a Toyota. And the battle usually ends there.

 

Just ignore the haters.. Me, every time I see my box, I think to myself, "DAMN thats a sexy box.." I love it..

I had one guy ask me "Wow, why would anyone want an ugly car like that?" So I turned to him (he was getting into his Honda Accord) "Why would anyone want to be like everyone else?"

 

i have had alot of bad comments about my box,and i just say do you drive the f''in thing then dont worry about it!but i have had alot of good comments too alot of people say i really dnt like the xb but you made it your own and now i like it.HEY evosky.i know exactly what you mean every time i park it i look back at it at least 3 times and say damn that biotch is clean!my girlfriend is kinda gettin tired of it!lol

 

I remember playing with Lego blocks when I was little, so maybe that's why the xB attracts to me. People made bad jokes of the original Mini and original Beetle...gotta love originality.

 

i hate that my car is wrong wheel drive , and too slow (only 15.6) but it does look MIGHTY sexy

i hear negative comments all the time about my B....quite a few are from my wife, but i don't care i've loved these things since i first saw them....

 

just watch i bet she'll grow to love it , or at least tolerate it! lol

well, i had other issues. i traded in a vehicle that i owed quite a bit on.
