you know guys, i think people who say they hate the box actually deep down like it but are afraid to say it. people at work talk about my box ALL THE TIME, they once went as far as to print off a pic of a box off onlinel, color it yellow, and then put a stop sing on it and called it a short bus. they always try to make fun of it. i got to thinking about it, and they talk about it so much, i think they actually like the fickin thing but wont admit it. i think of it this way, if i bought a g35, wich most of can adimit is a sweet ___ car, these same people would have been like, wow, nice car, and that would have been it, never mentioned again, but instead it get brought up all the time, same with my inlaws, they say they hate it, but every time i come over there house, it gets mentioned numerous times while im there. the last time i went ove there, we took my wifes altima, and every one was asking were was my toaster(the same people who say they hate it) so basically just like everything else in life, when people hate on something you have or do, it usually means they are envyous.

When I first got my box and got new wheels I had a guy following me all over town just looking at it. Finally he pulled up next to me at a stop light and asked me what that was and I told him. Then he said that he liked it alot and asked how gas mileage was and now he has one.

Same thing here guys...

My neighbors knew I was heavily into my Civic. The day they (2 sisters) asked why I was taking it apart, I told them I was buying an xB, both of them asked by why I wanted such an ugly car. I told them both that Ive always loved that style of the car and that was it.

The day I brought it home, I asked them if they saw it. They both said it was an ugly box. Oh well!!

When they saw the inside of the car, it changed their opinion. They saw how spacious it was and complimented it afterwards.

I find myself sitting next to windows anywhere I go just to look at my car. I think it looks freaking beautiful!!!

I love the fact that when I drive my car it stands out. Whether you think it is ugly or not , it still stands out and is different. I jus laugh at all the people drivin their big gas sucking SUV's.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO WHEN SOMEONE DISSES YO' RIDE, IS STOP DEAD IN YOUR TRACKS AND GIVE THEM THE SLOW ****. (DON'T FORGET THE EYE CONTACT, VERY IMPORTANT!) YOU MAY THINK I'M KIDDING BUT IT REALLY WORKS AND TOTALLY GROSSES PEOPLE OUT. THEY USUALLY WALK AWAY WITH THE MOST PRICELESS LOOK ON THEIR FACES. I LOVE IT!!!

I love how different the interior space feels compaired to my other cars. There is all the space in front of me and above my head. It makes the interior feel huge.

I seriously almost fell off my chair laughing. Thats so freakin' priceless, i almost wish i was a guy

Um, but yeah to keep on topic here, some a-hole drove up next to me one time in his crappy old truck and said "what the F is that?" um, first, its rude to use the F word to random girls and second, what the hell? who does that?! I get pretty fired up when people say its an ugly car... at least now they can pick on the 08. maybe.

I purposely position my car outside so that i can always see it when i walk by the window. It is hands down, the greatest looking car i've ever had, i wouldn't trade it for a blend-in-SUV. Standing out was the idea.

Just dropping in, i'm with bahamut_zero. I really like the xB's. My friends used to tell me they were glad I didn't get "the box" but I tell them if I had a choice I probably would've.

Theres actually a white box for sale, lowered with gold rota's I believe at my local Honda dealership. I'm very tempted to go over and talk some business. I work at Toyota and it was tucked between two bigger trucks and I still noticed it immediately.
