goldfingz

yeh i'm thinking about getting one also. my 88 hatch definately doesn't run 11-12's but w/the b16 it gets up and goes quite nicely...
I am still going to keep my Civic b/c it's my first car and it's got way too much money in it I just don't have the funds to completely paint it and do the exterior. I may get a xB this summer and I may not be able to, but I loved them ever since I saw it at Nopi 2 years ago.

19yr old college student wanting an easier way to move in and out of dorms and make it get some bling!

Should known I'd bump into you here ;) Hahaha. I'm gonig to test drive it this weekend. Sorry about the n00b question, I'm the same way to n00bs on other Forums

The ONLY thing I don't like about the xB is the damn cluster, but I wouldn't be speeding in it, so I'd get used to it.
your gonna like it. its not as fast as yer crx. but the cluster youll get used to. i hated it at first cuz its soo small, but it will grow on you.

Default so so

My impression of the xB has been so-so. Basically, it is an economy car with extra style and a good deal of interior space.

My test drive was somewhat disapointing, the clutch felt too ambiguous and the engine is just adequate.

The problem is that for about the price of an xB, the Mazda 3i which I test drove felt infinitely better (it is a driver's car). The M3 2.3 S at 1.5k more is simply amazing. If you are accustomed to any kind of performance vehicle the xB can be a let down simly because it is an econo car with style.

My impression of the scion was that it was a Toyota echo with 400 lbs of extra weight, more headroom, and $4,000 dollars worth of options (including upgraded suspension ie wheel base, larger body, ac, etc...). I simply did not "buy into scion" when I test drove it. You are buying an image when you compare it to a fully loaded Echo, which is cheaper and much more peppy.

Test drive, compare, and see what you feel.

my next car needs to have a lot of room b/c moving in and out of dorms w/a lil civic is a two to three trip process ( i had my own dorm this year)

the element has got more go, but more $$ and the outside to me would take immediate attention

we'll see
