Default Will Scion/Toyata 1 800 Care?

I took my scion XB to a local dealer because the drivers window is loose in the track. Its Lowered on factory rims and tires. I wake up and at 9:am look over the front of my car to check the front clip for damage none. I check this because I work in a auto service repair shop and know sometimes thing happen. Drop the car off. And let them know its lowered to be carefull. Dropped of at 10:am. Guy goes around the car to look for damage before service as part of his job. Call me at 4 tell me its ready. Pick XB up at 4 drive 1/2 mile home and eat dinner. Check out my car, 2 gouges in the front clip. The are left to right in a curved pattern. I totaly know they did it. I have no idea how. Would they put the car on the lift to take the door apart? But they did wash the car in a thier car wash. I have no idea how they did it. But I am 100% they did. They are going to talk to the tech and call me tomorrow. If they claim the did not do it. Will toyota customer service care? He did go around the car, and look for damage, and saw none. And there was non when I dropped it off.

wait and see what their response is first...but stick to your guns about it. Sounds like a careless Tech. If they dispute it, then make the call, it can't hurt...

Toyota/ Scion Corporate customer care is very helpful from my experience. You'll be given a claims rep and he/she will most likely call you at least once a week to check the status of your vehicle. The most recent phone call I made to scion customer care, they ended up sending a FTS (regional field technician specialist) out to the dealer i take care of my issue because the dealership had already tried two times, so my claims rep saw that I had tried solving the issue through the dealer, but with no results... so they were kind enough to take it to the next level! Although, they were never able to fix the problem, because I believe it is an issue that can not be fixed.... but like I said, I felt pretty special that scion customer care was willing to send out an FTS just to take a look at my car, had the problem actually been something that is fixable, I have full confidence that they would have fixed it.
Anyhow, enjoy receiving great customer service when you speak to your claims rep, I swear they call you more than marketers do.

Sorry you have to deal with this sort of crap. Yet another reason my xB never went back to a dealer.
I'd rather fix stuff like this myself than deal with someone that doean't care about my car F'ing it up.

when i got my box, the ac center directional blower was not snapped in correctly and i took it back up there, they came with a flat head screw driver and put a huge gash in my center console, then tried to say it was already there, i was like it has 6 miles on it, so after complaining and making a big stink about it in the show room they took the center console out of another xB on the lot and replaced it, just stick to it and dont let your guard down when they start complementing your car, they use that as a secret weapon...
