Windshield reflection at night?

Windshield reflection at night?
Does anyone else have an intermittent reflection on their windshield at night - pretty much right in your line of sight? I did - it would come and go as I passed under street lights and such - and I determined that the culprit was the decorative silver "ring" around the base of the gear shift. I placed a piece of fabric over the silver, and can now drive at night without being bothered by this. It may sound petty, but I found this to be very distracting. And I don't like having a floppy piece of fabric as a solution, but I haven't come up with a better solution so far.
Just wondered if anyone else noticed it.

I have a relection...But its because of my Blue CC tubes...They pretty much light up the inside of the car and reflect against the windshield....But before that....no reflection that I can remember...

I sometimes notice the silver from the center control area reflecting - right over the left center vent. But it doesn't really bother me. Like someone else mentioned, I've got light reflections that are more noticable, but not distracting, IMO.
You wanna see some messed up reflections, you should see the dash on my Grand Caravan - 3 feet long reflection of the whole dash in the whole windshield - day or night. it's just plain nasty...

Thanks Jugglah. But this reflection isn't coming from the dash area.
I'll live - I've managed to defeat the blinking night reflection. Actually - I bought a black fabric steering-wheel cover, and removed the elastic from one side - it doesn't look so bad over the base of the stick shift.
