Default Windshield Sun Shield

I have done a number of searches with different word combinations and I am unable to come up with what I am looking for.

A while back I saw a Windshield Sun Shield for the xB on here, (it goes on the inside of the windshield to keep the sun out when the car is parked, and can be folded up when not in use). I saw either a link to it or a thread on it in the past, but am unable to find it now.... does anyone know where they can be obtained?

My old one that I had used in my Honda is too high for the xB, so I am using it in my other car.

Jim,

I use a insulated foil faced sun shield designed for a Saturn SL1 or SL2 (my old car) and it's a perfect fit for the xB.

However, you can go here and get one specifically for the xB.

Thank you for the link Paul.....

The cost at "autobarn" is much more than I expected... the previous one that I had was a generic one that cost $8.00... I think that I will modify a cheaper one to make it fit.

I got a generic oversize shade from Wal-Mart for $8.00 and it works great.

You need to spring for the extra cash and get a good one. Not one of those cheap Walmart ones. You can get a great custom fit insulated one off of ebay for about $25. Once I tried the good one I bought them for all of my rides.

Try you local NAPA store for a great deal. I got a nice accordian type, oversized slightly for an even $5. It looks great and only $5. Folds up nicely when done and stores tucked away next to the drives seat (lower left side), just slide it back.

Default windshield heat shield...get yours from canvasworks.com

perfect fit for my xB!

they custom size their shields for all the current automobiles.

Had them for my old protege, my wife;'s cr-v, and my '05 xB.

Under $35 plus shipping..(direct from manufacturer)--it is even cheaper than getting at the local tint shop that charges $50.00.
