Just got a call from the dealer.. My RS1.0 just rolled off the truck!
I feel more relieved than anything, as I've already purchased over a grand of aftermarket gear for it.

I don't know the number yet, so I can't register it. The other downer is that I can't pick it up till next week

See, It's in ATL and I'm in STL. I bought a plane ticket to fly out there next week and drive it back.. Delivery was gonna cost almost a grand... Whattabruthagonnadooo??

Hopefully, though, that means I'll be DE ONLY ONE pimpin' an RS1.0 in the STL! or even an xB for that matter. Just don't Hate.. appreciate.

That also makes me wonder... Anyone out there in the STL area with a SCION of any sort?? Maybe I could start organizing a meet... if anyone's interested.

 

Which dealer has it, and who is your salesperson?

(I've spoken to about 4 local dealers, all of which were asses)

No matter, even with the 500.00 markup, I'm still getting what I wanted. Once I'm pimpin in the "bangbus", all that dealer stress will float away.

Maybe I should get BANGBUS along with my RS 1.0 badge.. that would be UBER-PIMP!!!

Hey ghost, have to spoken to Jorome or Sammy at Atlanta Scion? I got mine there and they were very friendly.

wazzip7, you may want to pick up some "painters" tape (comes off real easy) and protect some body parts that would be prone to damage for the long trip home. You'll get some stares for sure driving the box home, but the blue tape will really have them wondering what they've spotted!

let me recomend Hayward- Allen in Athens. Steven Barry aka SHowroom is a great salesperson to work with. They do charge an extra 200 doc fee unlike Mall od Ga Scion tha charges 500- lost my business because of that.
I was originally going to get my xB from Scion by Gwinnett Mall but they never called me back about a RS 1.0. T o me the 200 extra wa a small price to pay for the LAVA. Plus Steven delivered to my home!!!!

 

Yeah, I've spoken with steven often about it, we just have these two little problems called 1) trade-in with high payoff (bought like 6 weeks ago) and 2) I have no job. But I am working on it.

No.
It belongs to a good friend -- He tinted the windows on the Xb that day too! We show cars together alot. Almost all the cars you see in the pics I've done some sort of grunt work on.

That car in particular has been in a few magizines this year.. I'll let you know which if you're interested.. It's also for sale...
