I was just in Las Vegas over the weekend and as we were waiting for our ride outside the Stratoshpere Hotel on Sunday night, I saw one xB as a Vegas Taxicab. I guess I just had to tell someone, and thought maybe other's have seen them as cabs in other cities.

 

I have seen the xb cab in Va, at dulles airport but I have only seen one.

 

I've seen them in Chicago and in Iowa City, Iowa

 

Yeah, they're around chicago a lot.

 

Supposedly there is a fleet of them in Santa Barbara.

 

They make great shuttles. University of Pennsylvania Hospital uses them to shuttle ambulatory patients around the campus.

And PhillyCarShare (hourly car rentals) has a bunch of them available, along with other mostly small, reliable vehicles. http://www.phillycarshare.org/html/fleet_CarsPage.htm

In Philladelphia, they use 1st Gen xB's for their Ride-Share program. Basically you can "borrow" a car to go from one place to another in the city instead of taking public stransportation. It's really a great idea.

 

I see the paratransit CTA ones all the time... but I've also seen a handful of cabs.

 

They use them in Bloomington, IN for cabs...and around the IU campus.

 

Ya i've seen a few in the reno nevada area. There used to be one in my small town of 17,000. Me and that taxi were the only xbs in my town until he ran into a telephone pole. He was fine but the box was done for.

 

Definitely a cab. It was waiting outside Midway Airport.

ive seen them as rolling advertisements all over...

a locksmith
and even the carsense people or whatever they are that will pick u up and drive you to your destination...
