How long did it take you to learn stick / adjust to stick on your xb? Do you have to push the clutch in a long way (i imagine you dont, since its like a van) like a regular manual transmission?
the first time i pushed down the cluth and released it in gear, that how long it took me to 'learn'.
being like a van, has nothing to do with how far you need to push the clutch.
and what do you mean 'like a regular manual transmission'. if its a manual its a manual...

I didn't use the right words; what i meant to say is that how far does the clutch have to be pushed in before it engages? I've driven in my sisters kia rio, and it takes atleast 7-8 inches of pushing it down before it engages. I've noticed that in the xb, the clutch is much closer to the floor, will that make pushing it in less far than the car noted above?
OK, first of all, when you push down on the pedal, it DISengages the clutch. And common sense would teel you if there's less space between the pedal and the floor, then you don't have to push the pedal as far to DISengage it.
