Default a xB coupe

i was kiding around with this idea but do you think it would look any good? If a xB was shorted length wise and become a coupe and then chop the top like 2-3 inches. If anyone can try to photochop something like this would be good.

I say just make the front doors 50% longer keeping the wheelbase the same and make it a TRUE coupe or should I say 2DR. Hatch. lol

Well, here's how it could look with just lengthened front doors. Obviously that includes converting the rear doors into just a smaller back portion.

Very good rendition. Make the rear side window one piece like the 2 dr. Echo and I say put it in production. With the door larger it would be very easy for the occasional rear passangers to enter and exit.

Here's the version with solid rear quarter windows, I'd have to wonder how it would hold up in a roll over though

I think it would do the same or better cause it would still have the B pillar and instead of the rear door the quarter would be part of the structure

I wasn't quite positive what you meant by panel van, but I'm guessing that it's where many of the windows are paneled over? Either way, here's a rendition of that.

they should lower it by like 3 inches, take about 7inches out of the top, short the car by like 12 inches. and take 3 inches out of the body

Like these, only pick-up version. I actually think this could be done with the stock front doors. The roof cut a bit behind the pilar - dropped to be used as a hinged bed cover. The rear window moved to behind the front seats. The rest of the hatch modified into a tailgate. I haven't measured it, but we'd be left with a legitimate bed
(a little plywood of course). With the rear-side glass removed we might even gain a little payload capacity.
