Kinda like this?

^^Thats the stock non chop roof.

^^That one's got the chopped roof and lengthened door.+

If you think we get laughed at now - keep the stock roof - whew. Reminds me a little bit of the old ford trucks with the van fronts (going way back even before my time)

The chopped version is A-OK by me.

All your chops seem to do the same thing... Why is it that you stretch out the door when you chop off the roof? No need for it, IMO makes it look worse. Do a chop top, keep same door length. If your going for that true coupe look, the front seat should not fully be at the edge of the door opening. about 3/4 of the way back, that way the back seat guys can get in from the front door. Also your first chop was good, other then having the driver seat in the back. If that one was just a little longer & the door shortend some, it would look much better. The only cars I have really seen where the driver door is near the rear wheel well are things like S2k, miatas, CRX & other 2 seater styled cars. Good job though & much better then anything I can do. Just offering up some points that could make it look better.

Ok, heres a couple other variations on the previous posts due to totally acceptable criticism.

^^chopped top pickup thing, no stretching of the doors.

^^chopped top no stretched doors, enormous blind spot.

^^chopped top no stretched doors, fairly big rear quarter window.

That looks about right but the doors should be a wee bit longer to ease getting in and out of the rear seat a bit.

My skills suck real bad, so thanks again to Nibs for giving me stuff to change up a little. The color match is not perfect, but its the best I can do with MS Paint

I did something similar for the "design your own scion" contest

I imagined it based on the mr2 platform with the engine in the back

The first one is kind of kool, I would consider something like that. However the second looks like a giant slipper, if we think the xB's get crazy comments now...I can just imagine what people would say.
