New to SCION.

I am thinking about buying an XB and have read the previous posts on crash tests.
I have seen the XB crash test data from Japan, but does anyone know if the U.S. is or has tested the XB ??????

According to safercar.gov it hasn't been tested.

 

No official results available from any US testers yet...

Toyota bBs in japan have been though. they have faired very well and are basically the same as xBs are here. very minor differences. the test results were posted somewhere on the site. just search it. hope this helps.

If I am correct, the xB has a bit more side bracing than the bB does, to meet US requirements.

 

i believe so too Tom. i think it was made a little safer somehow for US roads. that maybe it with side bracing all though im not sure 100%.
