32 - 35 mpg - and brand new!
First tank of gas = 32 mpg, mostly city driving, normal speeds (30-50). Second tank, 35 mpg, mostly highway, some city, full load with seats folded down, 3 heavy suitcases, duffle bag, 2 back packs, portable computer, 2 passengers, from San Francisco to LA (through mountains on Rte 5) 50-80mph to break it in using various speeds.
I'm thrilled! But the mountains really taxed the poor egg. Had to use "O/D Off" a bit. I wonder how it would have worked without all the luggage.

Hello all,
I've had my car for about a month now. I've been getting between 38.5 and 40.5 Mpg. The last two fills averaged 40.5 Mpg.
Mostly highway/freeway driving. The last fill up was at 390.6 miles at 9.620 gallons to fill the car up.
A breakdown if anyone's interested. 43 miles one way to work.
5 miles at 50 Mph.
9 miles at 55 Mph.
11 miles at 65 Mph.
10 miles at 50 Mph.
8 miles at 55 Mph.
