Default xB invisible bra

Contemplating an invisible bra self-install and wondering how difficult this might be on the xB. The surfaces appear to be moderately curved, so the procedure should not be too difficult... maybe, only the bumper? Any comments/tips are appreciated.

Thanks a bunch for the pointer. In several discussions, folks talk general. I wonder if someone did a self-install and can share do's and dont's.

I've been considering buying this kit:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MakeTrack=true

And having it installed by a local installer that's listed on the 3M list of installers. I already have a small rock chip on the lower bumper and would like to prevent any more. A few roads I travel has some loose gravel here and there and I know it'll keep happening.

I called a local installer that was listed on the 3M site and he quoted roughly $600 for installation and materials. Couldn't get just an install quote from him since I'd buy my own kit...the guy was kinda dense.

But I just called the place that did my window tint and they use the Avery film (same difference as 3M) and said about $175 for the hood and full bumper. I just have to bring it in for them to measure exactly how much material is needed.

Looks like I'll be taking it to them and have a full install done for the cost of the 3M kit without installation.
