you shouldn,t need to fold down the seat you have enough space on the floor aswell you can even place a monster wheeled double stroller in the back with no problems .

Stroller goes in the back. Bags and such go on the floor. I try to pack light when we go on road trips. My wife always wants to take the whole house with us, but I always do a quick audit to see if we are bringing unnecessary stuff.

Stroller is a definite must, my son is a little oversized. My daughter on the other hand just wants an overhead dvd player. I LOVE my kids.

I have a 6 mo. old and will be having another in a year. We went to the store the other day to buy and umbrella stroller before I really realized that we hardly ever use the stroller anyways. If we goto the store we use the carts, the only time we use the stroller is at the mall maybe once a month and open outdoor events. our stroller fitts perfect in the hatch. I guess the main point is that the xB isn't ideal for a family with 3 kids but is great for 2.

My husband to be has 2 kiddos, and they fit fine in their seats. We are expecting one of our own and hoping we can fit all three. I believe its do-able. We have had both kids in the back along with one adult in the backseat.

Pixel,

I love how you have two of the same color xB,

anyways I have three kids at home now 14, 10, and 7. They fit FINE!!! When we only had mine we were all in the car on CA trips with all our stuff and no problem at all!

I agree some stuff can be put on the floor since the kids can't touch the floor yet and by the time they can you won't be hauling a stroller so hey all works out fine!!

My kids bring everything with them when we go to CA and alls well! :D

Is it safe to assume in this day and age that if someone is having 3 kids, they had 2 of the same sex to start?

I agree with the above, don't think you can get two carseats onto the 60 portion of the rear seat. Not even sure if you could make it work with the LATCH points setup as they are--I think having the carseat in the middle means that you use one LATCH point on the 40 side and one on the 60 side (not sure but I think this is how it works).

However, there's a TON of room on the floor between the front and back seats, I'd think you could lay things down there. You'd also have the space in between the car seats, and then of course the stuff in back. And if you put some racks/spaceboxes on the roof then you should be good to go.

Very fun car to drive, my wife loves mine and my kid seems to enjoy it too. And he's still facing rearward

I actually have four kids tho. All at home now. My oldest son is 22 and 6'1" two girls and then a boy!

All four kids ride with me just fine on occassion! They LOVE it! Everytime I leave the house they try to go with me. {YES sometimes I LIKE to be alone!! lol}

My backseat drivers are 14, 10, and 7 and have no problem with the seating or the stuff on the floor board ...they even still have room for their feet!

The box is bigger than it appears.

I agree. I test drove one for a day and didn't want to bring it back! It's definitely HUGE on the inside. My wife's aunt got in the backseat and tried to touch the roof while seated. She couldn't! If there's ANY way I can swing it, I'll probably angle for the xB, though using it daily is going to be an "adventure"...
