xB in the SNOW
OK how does the box do in the snow? This will be my first winter with it and I HAVE to be at work to drive a freakin snow plow. Also will all season 18s be ok or should I put the stock wheels back on?
last winter i just put the stocks back on...with some good tread, the box does great in the snow....never had a prob (cept my car is loowered and we had a couple of 2+ feet snow storms and i got stuck trying to plow my car to the store)
thinner width tires are better in the snow... and of course having all season tread helps... basically thinner tires dont need to "plow" as much snow out of the way as wide tires... Im assuming your 18s are pretty wide also... so yeah... thinner is better for the snow... wider is better for grip in the dry
In my opinion, the xb does GREAT in the snow. About the first week of october, we got 14" where I live, and I had my first oppy to play around in the white stuff. I still had the 15" stockers on, and I am a bit curious to see what it's like with the 18s.
I've lived in colorado all my life, snowboard every weekend, and I've had plenty of experience with snow ;)

I really appreciate the input ! I have to get to work because my boss is an ___ about it. I live in Virginia and we dont get alot of bad snows but every now and then.I got my 18s today but I dont think I will even bolt them on until spring.
