So last night at work my co-worker and I were really bored so we decided to take a break and raced the 1nz-fe's We went to where we could wait for a stop light and and then lined up. I got him by a car off the line and then aerodynamics took over and he ended up winning. We probaly went a half mile and got up to 85 before we shut down. Wasn't very exciting but it was fun and killed a half hour out of our shift. Both cars were completely stock by the way.

 

yeah the box wasnt built for speed but you have to admit its fun carving the corners - i love the feel and thrill of going 85mph down sepulveda hill i can just hear the tires starting to sqeak

 

it took you a half an hour to get to 85 mph.....LMAO j/k. Of course this "race" was on a "closed course" right?

 

Couple of month ago, I raced against a Prius. Probably the only car that my stock xB can beat.

 

oh yeah!!! well i raced a newlywed couple in a chevy aveo the other night with my tc! they were laughing as much as i was. needless to say i won.

 

Yeah, 0-60 in a Prius is like 10.5 seconds or something ridiculous. And that's assuming you can find a Prius driver willing to waste their precious gas to accelerate that quickly.

 

I wanna race one of them (un)-smart thingies......LOL

 

We've got a Kawasaki Mule at work with the governor removed, that could be interesting

Coming out the back gate of Hurlburt Field, Take a right at the 3-way and whip a _____, wait for no traffic and then catch the red light and go down Martin Luther towards commando village.

The Echos are lighter than the xB. The gearing isn't as good, though.
