YeeeHaaaa! My WORST tank yet!
Well, it was a bad week for MPG, folks.
The Mileage Gods were definitely on vacation; a whole tank of nothing but city driving, A/C cranked all the time, running on the Borbets and 205s, NEVER driving the least bit carefully or conservatively...
The result? 32.0 MPG!
Seeing as how the car is EPA rated at 30 MPG city, I'm definitely not complaining.
Wow, if this isn't proof of the mileage mods, nothin' is!

As to the trips, I'd say mostly in the 5-6 mile range; a few in the 10-15.
And no weird gas, just regular ol' 87 octane pump gas with no additives, no snorkle and a K&N filter!

i think my lowest was 28 with a high of 36. now, i have no idea what i did that was different to get 36, but for 28 i made lots of short trips.
now i have an sri and an greddy axleback, and been getting 31-33mpg consistently. i drive aggressively at times (all the time according to my better half ) but most of the time i TRY to be smooth ie slow to stop by going from 4th to neutral, and anticipating traffic so i don't have shift as often.

I often get better mileage in stop-n-go traffic on the freeway than I do on just open freeway driving, due to the ability to coast up to slowing traffic so often.

My worst 1 time tank was approx 24 mpg.
Was driving to Hobbs NM from DFW
Ran into a storm cell just ouside of Big Springs.
I was only cruising about 60-65 mph..
then again.. I was passing everyone else on the road.
Think they were doing 30 or so
head wind.. yeah..
