It should be a simple install if you have the right dash kit and wire kit. I plan on putting an ipod input unit in mine and shouldn't be any harder than a regular install. Thos wire kits have the instructions on how to wire up the kit to the new HU. Just solder all the wires and tape them up good and then it's just plug and play. Good luck!

Dude I don't live in NY but I just installed the Kenwood ddx 8019, Blue tooth, and the ipod as well as the HD radio.....I suggest you get to be friends with some geeks my friend....look at ITT tech for the electronics guys they would die to do this for lunch money.....or even better make friends with an audio owner...they give you the best hookups....the install is quite easy....you need to get a hold of the service manual for the XB...next get some tools nut drivers screwdrivers...and a socket set...go to your local sams club...cheap
look into getting the wiring harnesses together cause this makes a world of difference
loo at your wiring diagrams and color codes for he wires.
seriously if I lived a few blocks awayI would hook you up.
any questions feel free to reply and Ill hook up with you somehow...untill then good luck bro
