Default 2012 xB Aluminum Halo Retrofits

Thought you guys might be interested in these. Machined and wired to spec, so if you want something custom just ask! This set will be wired with ultra bright green LEDs for our prototyping partner. These fit into the stock headlight housing, as you can see we trim the edge to properly fit the housing. Very excited to get the blacked out finish on these and get them installed!

The set he posted is going to be used in my B for testing first and then if all goes well they will become available to anyone with a 2011+ xB.

Obviously the headlights were slightly changed from '10 to '11 but did the projector actually change? Or was it just the rest of the housing

The housing changed a bit on the 08-10 they have a full ring (or atleast almost full) around the projector where a halo ring could be mounted. They make kits for them; however, on the 2011+ they have the projector ring sitting almost right up against the block off for the high beams are hence the cut out portion on these. These are designed to fit snugly on the ring around the projector.

Here's a teaser.

Mine are not fully wired up yet as we are doing them to a box with a relay and extra connection points for more led work to come.

Here's a lit up picture from the test bench,

So far I'm super happy with them and hopefully on Monday we will get them finished up and do a full shoot for everyone.

Side note: mine are on a switch so they can be turned off. In Wyoming green is a legal color but if you go to Colorado they are not for driving. So if you want red or blue or any color it's super simple to hook them to a switch. And there will be a full write up coming.

You know I was so busy looking at all your interior lighting when I checked out your car that I didn't catch that. Great minds I guess...

Installed and lit up.

Night shot.

These really are superb quality. I've had them in for just over two weeks now and I'm still impressed. They are super bright and the fitment is spot on. There will be a full walk through coming of the install coming I believe.

If by involved you mean how hard is the install? It's not too bad as long as you're comfortable with opening up your headlights and wiring. It's about a 4 hour install if all goes well and you take your time.
