2013 XB

2013 XB
I just bought my second XB, a 2013 10 series. I've been in the process of modding it out but have noticed that its hard to find certain aftermarket parts for that year! My question is, is a 2013 exactly the same as a 12 or 11? Are they completely different? Or are there only certain differences between them? Any help would be greatly appreciated! It was a lot easier when I had my 2006 XB!

I am a new 2013 owner as well with just over 1700 miles on it.
So far I am finding aftermarket is slim pickings for 2012 and 2013. As far as the difference between our 2013 and the 2011/2012's there are a few changes to body, lights, bumpers. I am also understanding the rear suspension has some changes.
Still learning on the forums and local meetup. Find a group that meets up in your area if possible, they have a ton of knowledge most of the time.

The only difference between the 11-12 xB and the 13-xB is the 13-up comes with the LED front vent lights and a black lip across the back bumper. The 11-12 xB don't have the LED vent lights or the bumper lip.
Now for parts
Intake , header, exhaust, suspension , Strut bar, sway bars ect are all the same from 08-up. So for example a 2008 xB exhaust will fit a 2013 xB.
The only parts that cant be used from a 08 to 10 xB on a 11-up xB are the headlights and taillights.
Hope this Helps.

I did talk to one of the Scion service managers at Bellevue Toyota today about rear suspension, seems only part with a new number were the stops from 2010 to 2013 from our conversation. I was mostly interested in shock/coil changes in relation to my warranty should I want to void it already. lol

Have had Suspension since 2008 and it does not void your warranty. TRD Strut Bar, TRD Sway Bar and Tanabe Springs.... Also have an Exhaust and full stereo system and my warranty is not voided.

Perhaps I misstated.
An aftermarket part you put on, such as Coils, if there is damage to that related system, that related system will no longer be covered under warranty for that section. That was what they told me, I would like to do my changes and still have coverage on the warranty so if your have a better source of info I would like to contact them. Part of that was any non Toyota part not put in by Toyota I believe.
That said, I will be getting coils and putting them in anyway.
