it looks like they made the interior even cheaper (crappy looking/cheap seat material)...guess that covers the 2nd dome light.

What's up with the color of the seat belts by the arm rest? It doesn't even match. I'm still looking froward to driving this thin at our local Backstage.

These are pre-production cars, and ive heard some of the interior plastics wont be the same as the ones on the production models (colors, shape, texture)

^^^^^^^
Exactly right. The plastic in the interiors of the Backstage models was not final production. I certainly hope that the armrest was not right either as it was worthless for me.

it's so dang HIDEOUS, , but i still want one any way. i'll wait until all the bugs are worked out. or i'll just get the XD. looks nicer. plus the 2 gen xb isn't a box no more. lookes like some giant grabbed and and rolled it through a sander and sanded the corners.

I was at Backstage last night... one of my favorite accessories for the new xB is the CF pillars. They cover the entire window sill rather than just the pillars. It looked really sweet. If anyone made a full CF window kit, I'd be all over it.

I've heard you say this in acouple threads, and I'm not sure if you know about the armrest that comes down from the side of the seat. The one you have pictured is mainly for storage(cds, etc.) There is an armrest attachec to the drivers seat on the right hand side that flips up and down. Check out your backstage guide and you'll see what I mean.

'xactly. He must be talking about the plastic center storage thing (which IS too low for an armrest) and not realize there is a folding armrest on the seat which is higher.

I think I'm gonna trade in the ol Piklbox for either a blackberry crush or a nautical blue with a stick -- the more I look at this car, the more it grows on me -- kinda like the original ! Not to mention I'm gettin old and currently I can feel the year of the dime I ran over on my current xB!
