"Bumper Protector" Accessory - Was it Move
Hi, I thought I posted some info.
Was it moved or deleted?
If not here it is:
Hi, I am a new owner of a Xb. I ordered the bumper protector which is not a bumper protector, and the corp office is unwilling to change their description on the website. The corp office is not helpful for most things.
I love my car, but Scion Corp sucks.
The Scion part is exposed and can be scratched.
I would not recommend this accessory.
I was told by the dealer it was already applied and they could not refund the money. They said in order to remove it, I probably need to go to a repair shop which is more $$$.
I ordered a Bushwacker bumper protector and it is a lot thicker than the "Sticker" that Scion calls a bumper protector.
Sorry to rant, but I going to hit every Scion forum, to see if anyone else has this issue (class action) or suggestions.

it was probably deleted because you posted in the tC forum.
anyway, if you actually READ the scion website, they don't call it a bumper protector, they call it a rear bumper applique. and it can protect your bumper from frequent loading and unloading if you were to say drag stuff across the bumper while loading it, or rest it there.
really don't see the problem there, they call it what it is, tell you what it is, and even SHOW you what it is. now if you wanna open up a class action lawsuit over an accessory that costs a whooping $70 dollars, go for it, but your chances are zilch considering scion did everything in their part to clearly show you what their product was.
if your dealership called it a bumper protector, that is all their fault, not scions.
