Default Carbon Fiber on Turn Signals?

Has anyone put a carbon fiber overlay on their mirrors or do they make carbon fiber Mirror covers?

I think it would look tacky to have carbon fiber overlays on your turn signals.

I'd invest in some kind of overlay for your mirror covers instead if you want to go that route. As far as I know, people here around SL have either blacked them out or adhered a chrome overlay.

If you want to do something with your mirrors, take some VHT Night Shades and smoke your turn signals instead.

Thanks, sorry, that is what I actually meant to say. I want to keep my turn signals clearly visible. I just want to do something cool with the mirror covers. I figure I was going to invest in a new Siebon CF hood and I want something else to tie in to it.

lay some vinyl over the mirror covers. would be cheap and easy to remove if you don't like it.

I definitely vote for the vinyl. Just a simple black vinyl would be nice.

If you want to do carbon fiber, order the carbon fiber window trim instead. That always looks nice.

well I thought about that, but I already have the AVS seamless vent visors on my windows already, and that trim would have to go on in place of where the vents attach to wouldn't they? I'll just try the vinyl idea and see how that turns out. Although I may end up tinting the ACTUAL turn signals as well to make it look cooler and tie it in together more.

Try something different! As for the seamless vent visors you have, mine are taped over the chrome pillars that I have on my xB. The fitment is nominal.

I searched all over and could not find CF Mirror Covers for the Gen2's. I ended up getting Black Trim paint from Duplicolor and sprayed them. They match the black trim around the windows perfectly! I had already tinted my turns on a previous mod spree... LOL

That... Looks... Sweeeeeeeeeet! I might just have to do that. As far as tinting the actual turn signal part, how did you do that?

Does look very nice! And I would also like to know how you tinted your turns?
