CF FRONT BUMPER CAP
i am thinking about getting the carbon fiber front bumper cap that covers the piece behind the front plate. i am getting it from fastscions. do you think its worth it? imput needed
Super easy. Just pull the license plate frame off the front, clean the bumper really well throw some 3M double sided tape on the top, the front, and the angled area and press it on. Ding Dong Done.
Guess you missed the disclaimer:
Extra Passenger required when buying this product...due to eliminating the tow hook access pushing the car will be the only way to move the car in the event it breaks down....buy at your own risk and expense!
j/k this is one of the reasons I decided not to buy the cover...well that and the fact that you can get carbon fiber wrap for about $40 vs almost $200 but that is just me...

At a lot of body shops etc, you can by the clear 3M protective vinyl that would normally cover your stock bumper, hood bra, etc. I was gonna buy that for the cf bumper cap to help protect the clear coat. As for the "cf" vinyl that is exactly what it is... vinyl. In MY opinion, why buy a vinyl applique that isn't as resistant to rockchips and debris as actual resin. It would seem to me that one would have to replace it on a regular basis just to maintain it's appearance.
But like I said, it is just MY opinion. Freedom of choice, it's what makes this country great.
