Default CF hood

I'm thinking about buying a CF hood for my box. I really like this one.. comments PLEASE!!!! a few friends and my wife don't like it but I do. I need more input....
My box is a 08 BCM.

i like that style hood as well, what keeps me from getting it is that i dont know if the vents are real or not.

im hoping they're fake so water doesnt get in the engine bay.

The vents are not functional. Find an oem style hood, they look better imo.

I like it, def a great looking hood i think. I was looking at that hood and the Dual Vent for my car. I like the OEM CF Hood but i feel you gotta get someing that pop's and add's to the car and not just basic.

I received an email from the company that makes the hood. Here's what they told me about the vents... "They are real vents. This hood is bolted on the same way you install your stock hood. In fact, it uses the stock hinges & latch."
I really like this hood, but also wondering if the vents can be "blocked off" for winter driving.

IMO i dont like it...i personally just like the OEM style CF hood on all cars, but that my opinion. if you like it it shouldnt really matter, i wish you the best


on the plus side, i do sell that hood and a OEM style cf hood

yeah for sure min was clean till this new motor went in and its from a burnt up car so its a little dirty lol

whoever told you that hood has actual vents is full of crap. my friend bought one from them and those are not vents. they just try to make it look like they are from the front but i assure you, unless they changed their design, those are not real vents!!

I recieved the email from the company that makes them. Hmmmmmmmm. I wil have to send another and ask for a pic....
