I know this has been discussed already, but I wanted to bring it back up so that people will see it and respond. I live in the SoCal area and was wondering where the best place would be to go get a clear mask for my car? Please include prices as well. THANKS!

 

OH yea, one more thing. How do those things stand against car washes and everyday wear and tear? I don't want to pay all that money if it's gonna peel off easily.

 

They hold up great against car washes. I would get it done at sticker city in Sherman Oaks. They have Venture shield and 3M.

If you get one installed just make sure to apply wax on the clear mask after every wash to prevent dust and bugs from sticking on it, do this process during the first 90 days.

My 3M installer told me not to use any wax with petroleum distallates in it or it would yellow the product. So far, all waxes I've checked all have petroleum. He told me only to use a Quick Spray detailer. 3M was no help, their website only says not to use waxes with dyes. Have you heard anything like this? The other protection that came with the car does not have any such restrictions. Hmmm.

Yeah it costs too much to wrap your whole car . Serious just keep it clean and once or twice a yera you will need to clean the edges.

 

3m is trash! they are good for everything but clear protection. if you want the real deal protection go look at clearbumper.com and san diego has free installs. go look you wont be dissapointed!!!
