Hello to all. I was hoping to get some ideas of what to do. I was parallel parking in front of my house and didn't notice my neighbors tow hitch sticking out. Anyways my lower grill was stabbed by the tow hitch and it ripped out when i reversed and yacked my lower grill. Never even heard it cuz the music was on and it was also at night. Most aftermarket grills i find are just overlays and i dont know if they would work considering the grills condition. you guys think it can still be salvaged? I pushed it back in as best as i could. Now I'm driving around Buena Park lookin like a sucka. I'm bummed cuz i did want to do a grill mod in the future but just the top one. i really liked the lower ones basic pattern. oh well

 

First I have to ask - what grill "overlay" are you talking about? I'm a little confused here..

And your grill is effed up..you're going to need a new one

the grill clips in from behind, you may be able to take the bumper off and try and fix it to look better than it is now. I have seen people selling their stock grill on here for like $20 or so. Might want to keep an eye open in the PPC section.

 

Yeah i pretty much figured my grill is done. As per the install instructions of the grills i've seen, mostly on ebay, they say they go over your stock grill and they use a heavier gauge twist tie (not the baggie) to hold it on.

yes and i live in santa clarita... 45 minute drive unless u hit traffic or unless i feel like going to disneyland lol

 

i would try pulling the bumper off taking the grill out and popping it back into place. if the horizontal lines are warped grab a hair dryer and warm it up and see if you can un-warp it. if not buy a new one.
