Default Factory foglight question

I have dealer installed foglights and would like to find out if they can be wired so I can turn them on with the parking lights. The way it is now they can only be turned on with the headlights on.

all xB2s are pre-wired like that even if they had the factory installed option or not. the wiring and relays are all there to behave like that

you would have to go to the relay diagram which is hooked into the headlight wire and switch it to the parking light wire on the relay

Yea thats kinda what I was thinking was going to have to happen. I havent gone hunting yet but would you happen to know where the relays are and which is the hot lead for each? Thanks.

Yea i'd go for that too. Did you do that with OEM fogs? Are you using the dash switch?

So what do you do, take the lead from the fogs, run them to the switch and straight out to the batt?

Yup...and I cut the grey wire at the relay i think and hooked it up to an ignition source. So when ur key is in the on position, the fogs will turn on.

Interesting, so I have this right. The grey wire from the fogs run to the switch, from there they go to the relay but you cut it before the relay and run it to a 12v source.
Thanks
