Fenders and mirrors

just take it a body shop. they will put it back to pre collision condition. thats what they do. because a new fender and mirror isnt going to solve your problems at all. youve got some serious structual damage. you wont even be able to mount a new fender.

Been threw it. No structural damage. I do mechanic and light body work. The only true body damage is on the rear quarter. Gonna let the guys in my dealership fix that. As for changing doors and fenders and paint I can do.
Just wanting to put aftermarket fenders and mirror on when I'm going back together with it. Haven't decided if I want metal, fiberglass, or carbon fenders.

those are pure ____. i have a set id be willing to give you just to get the damn box out of my garage. but i was going to have them put on a while ago before i started my collision repair education and i got quoted that doing the same vent pattern in metal fenders would be about to same price as having the duraflex fixed, fitted, and painted show quality. plus you loose some of the structural integrity of the car the fenders add to the collapsing factor of the car during a collision. from what ive learned from my instructors anyway.

Yeah DJ. After i posted that i started reading up on them and heard all kinds of stories of them not fitting. I ended up getting a repop, steel fender. Was gonna do carbon but just didn't have it in the budget. Whole car is getting repainted.
