Default Headliner options

So I'm going to take out my headliner in the near future as part of my sound deadening extravaganza to install CLD Tiles, CCF, and MLV up there (I'm getting some major distortion from the roof vibrating from my subs).

Anyway, while its out I want to redo the headliner as well. The previous owner had small children and there are nasty stains all over the rear portion from God-knows-what was on their hands.

I'm debating between using black Duplicolor Vinyl & Fabric spray paint and just painting the existing headliner black. This option is relatively cheap and since the fabric is really low pile, it should be easier to get good coverage from the can (hopefully needing only 1 good coat if I take my time). This option is also very tedious and many various factors could result in the paint not coming out too good.

My other option is to just re-wrap it. This option costs a good bit more, plus it'll be tough to find a supplier with a material wide enough to cover the xB's gigantic headliner. However, this gives me more creative options than the paint and it'll give the headliner a more fresh/new look.

Also I'm not entirely sure on how to re-wrap a headliner. I'm pretty handy but I'd need a guide to get started.
Has anyone here done their headliner on their own before? Any tips to offer? Or has anyone used the Fabric spray paint on a headliner before with good results? Everything I've found online about the paint is always in regards to vinyl seats and dashes or carpet flooring, but not headliners.

Any help is always appreciated!

If you want to do it cheap and quick I used the duplicolor fabric spray and it worked well but its not smooth like a normal fabric would feel like until you let it soak in and then once its dry take a brush to it

First off - let me apologize I didn't realize until after I posted that this was in the Exterior section and not Interior. Apparently I had a moment of dyslexia. Moderators, feel free to move it if necessary. My bad.

Secondly - Thanks oreoremix42! That's what I was looking for. What kind of brush would work best? I have a steel bristle brush or would a nylon bristled brush be better? Does the brushing rub any paint out or is it pretty much set in once its completely dry?

Oreoremix42 - How many cans of the Duplicolor Fabric paint did it take to do your entire headliner? I was going to buy 3 cans but I wanna make sure so I don't get more than I need or get too little and have to pause to go purchase more. Thanks!

Ok, well I ordered 3 cans of the Duplicolor fabric spray paint and will undergo this project when I get ample time. I'll be sure to post pics.
