hello does any one have a DIY for the hood dampers? i got some off of ebay they fit ok but i was noticing on some other xb that the placement is not were i put them. THey still work but not happy with the height of the hood. any info would be really appreciated. the brand is called atlas i think.

 

People had a lot of problems with the eBay hood dampers, you want the ones from Redline Tuning that are in the third thread below.

Funny thing is everyone hates the Atlas ones but I really like mine. I like having the hood lower for shows and I haven't had any problems with them.

 

^^^yea i like them also but idk if they could sit higger would be awesome. R u the one with the white xb that went to scikotics show on saturday and theres a pic on the regional forum?

eBay hood struts = CRAP!!! they will destroy your hood.. send them back.. Go with Redline Tuning. Trust me. it's worth the extra coin..
