Default I'm a dumb...

Ok so I got some new white non led daytime running bulbs for the xb. The purple ones died. I put the right one in no problem, the left one felt weird when I was putting it in the socket thing. I was twisting it into the headlight housing until.... It fell out of the socket and Into the Bottom of the headlight housing -_____-. Only way I can think of getting it out is removing the whole headlight and shaking it out. So for that whole wall what I'm saying is I'm a dumb___ and does anybody know where I can find a diy for removing the whole headlight? Btw the wires On the drl are loose in my vehicle causing them to Flicker, I am planning on taking it to Toyota for warranty but I'm afraid the aftermarket bulbs may void it -___-

I think he's talking about the new parking lights on the 2011MY xB2s, above the amber turn signals.

I felt like a tard when that happened to me. I had to use some double sided tape and a clothes hanger but that wasnt too effective. I eventually decided to remove the whole light

Id love to see a pic of that bulb set in twilight. Got my 2011 and took the front end apart like 6 times to do the custom led on the front end. Working the back this week. Did you use solder or taps? For exterior, u gotta use solder or at least heat shrink and then tape and use the shield tubing. Otherwise moisture will get in there. Think about it. Ambient air is like 70-110° F and engine temps are much higher. Heating and coolin of air and the wires= condensation. Not a bashing, just my .02 FWIW. Aloha!

yes the whole bumper needs to be removed if you're looking to shake it back out, its a good chance to paint your housing too if you haven't done it

Thanks for the guide! We didn't pull the whole front bumper off just enough to get the bolt off and wiggled the headlight out. I had my moms friend come over for a little help but mostly to stare at his VIP gs400 on trafficstars <3 Got the bolt out and put everything right back in. And reinstalled the bulb, this time I made sure it really was in. Now they are even and white, no white and no purple led xD
