OK, so right now i have a bra on my car to protect the hood from rocks EXC... but i want to get plastic bug deflector... the only one i can find is made by EGR and looks dumb...
I have see a few xB2's with them made by AVS but cant seem to find one... anyone know if there is another company that makes one? I want one like this one

Scion xB Bug Deflector - PU500-52011
As far as I can tell Toyota/Scion only sells the Gen2 xB Bug Deflector - Part Number# PU500-52011 in Canada. Mine cost $105.00 + shipping. Not cheap, but I really like the protection it gives the front hood area.
I've had great luck ordering Canadian unique Scion parts from Stampede Toyota Scion Calgary, Alberta - Jeff Lange, Parts Advisor, Phone: 403-291-2119; Email: jlange@2toyota.ca. Jeff is great on customer service. He usually works on Saturdays too.

Does anyone with the "Canadian" bug deflector have any issues with wind noise or vibration? I've just bought one and I'm very curious: I had adapted a Suzuki one on my old Corolla, & had to cut off about 2" of the lip to get rid of excess wind noise. I hope this one for the xB will not need surgery !

Only had it on for a few days, but I have not experienced any detectable vibration; however, I have noticed some "whistling" at 40+ mph. Not consistent, but frequent. Wondering about the "hole" over the hood emblem. Will have to get some tape out and test it.
