Default Mobile HID bulb flickered... and gone.

My box's light started flickering the other night. Turn them off, tried again after shopping for 1/2 hr. No luck, even more violent flickering then completely out. Good thing I had my OEM bulbs handy and simply replaced them. As far as the HID bulb though, noticeable difference as far as a certain white liquid is concerned left in bulb that still lights up compared with the burnt out one that has no such white liquid.

Is this what we know as xenon gas? Any easy/affordable remedy recommendations? Wanted to order replacement ones, but for $90 it's a little too much for me.

Wrote to mobilehid.com's support and inquired about possible warranty etc., no luck as of yet. Knowing Cliffud has always been great with assistance, I surely hope he'll pull through this time.

Anyone experience a similar scenario? Mucho gracias!

Thumbs up to Cliff! I bought my kit a little over a year ago and it's going strong. Good to know he'll take care of you if you have issues with the product.

I had the same issue...cliff helped me figure out that my relay was rusted over from moisture in my engine bay. bought a $4 relay from a local shop and my hids work like a charm. had them over a year and a half...CLIFF you da man!!!

Thanks EVERYone for your advice!

I've actually experienced that rusted relay scenario once too. And Cliff was very kind to ship me a new one for a few bucks. I guess I just wasn't expecting the flickering so soon. And wished the sale they have going on right now was sooner when I wanted to buy a new pair.

Thanks Cliff, you've been great, honestly I don't think anyone can beat you via the internet. But I was fortunate enough to locate a local place called RaceFactory. Their kits are cheap and comes with a lifetime replacement warranty.

Best of luck to you!!
