Good morning! I just purchased my new to me '09 xB (it replaced my totalled '05 xB). It has the crappiest headlights ever on it. Thought I would replace the bulbs, bought them, went to put them in, and low and behold, the car has aftermarket lights on it.
(I should have know since they have the LED strip on top and halo around one of the projectors). The lights are the Sonar ones: 3301-ACD03. I have zero interest in attempting to remove the entire headlight assembly just to change the bulbs. Plus the headlights
have major condensation in them and one of the halos is burned out. I want to replace them. I'm not interested in doing the whole HID thing- I want a headlight that will be bright- give me a long range of light with the brights on (I live in a rural area),
and I want to be able to change the bulbs easily. My body shop guy will do the work for me. He recommended Depo lights, but has no experience with them for the xB- but I can't really find out anything about them online (meaning, do they meet my requirements?).

Any suggestions as to what I should buy? OEM? Oh, and I found out that Toyota is no longer making the fog light kit for my car. I'd like to add those to it too.

Dump the aftermarket crap! Get yourself a pair of used OEM or new OEM replacements.
Install HIDs, your done.

 

I have a 2014 and I think the lights are awesome!!! Toyota should have those fog lights still I just had some installed last week.

 

If the headlights suck then there is something wrong. My OEM lights are quite good.
