Talking Next upgrade :)

So I ordered a bomex lip kit. It has arrived. I did not do the rear lip for the rear bumper because I didn't wanna have to deal with my exhaust and clearance. So I have front lip and side skirts. The front lip will be molded into the bumper smooth. Will be replacing all the grilles with the same mesh material as my grille. Its the aftermarket upgrade for scion's upper grille. Will be painted flat black in the center.

Then looking into multiple staggered rim set up. Looking into some TSWs and others

Cool man, post pics when it's all done. Bomex is the only lip kit, other than 5 Axis, that I like.

Yes I agree with you there. I wanted the 5 axis first but the price I got on this was amazing!!!!

It won't be on until it gets warm up here. Don't wanna put it on and then mess it up from ice and stuff.

just a friendly word of advice. Dont mold it. That kit is fiberglass it looks awesome but easily broken.

But at the end of the day its your car...you have to drive it so do what makes you happy.

The 5axis lip kit is well worth the extra money. Urethane > fiberglass

try living in hawaii, then talk to me about expensive shipping!
bomex kit looks pimp but for people thinking about getting one I would highly recommend fiveaxis lip kit instead. polyurethane is sooooooooooo much better of a product than fiberglass. i dig the look of the bomex but not willing to deal with the hassles of fiberglass. fitment of fiveaxis was impeccable!
oreo:
dont you think its gonna look weird without the rear lip? the rear is alrady higher than the rest of the body as it is and then your gonna add about 3 inches lower to front and sides . . . post pics when its installed, curious to see this

TRDSparks.com currently has the Five Axis kit for $875 shipped for all four pieces. I paid even less for mine - $202.50 + $34 shipping for the rear and side skirts off eBay and $300 shipped for the front lip from Bean Garage = $536.50 shipped for everything.

I'm glad I went with the Five Axis. I've scraped the bottom of the front lip several times already. If it was fiberglass, it probably would have broken.

The Bomex kit definitely looks nice, just be VERY careful with it. I'm not sitting all that low, NF210s, but have had to take more care around curbs, driveways and speed bumps since I had my Five Axis kit installed. You'll need to be even more careful with a fiberglass front lip.

Yea, I live in Hawaii too and Shipping to here is horrible. Your lucky if you pay less for the shipping than the part itself. But nice kit, I want to see pics when its done.
