Got the NR>G hood dampers in 😋 @getnrg . If installed in the orientation from the directions, the lift when opening is easier and requires a touch more umph to close. The thicker part of the damper hits along the fender hood line from the inside causing a slight gap as shown in the pictures (I switched/flipped the orientation of the shocks opposite from what the instructions detail so no more gap; not pictured) This clears the hood line from the inside and makes the hood close faster and harder so be careful to not break your fingers 😝. Max height of the open hood is about to 2-3" lower than stock height so watch your head! ***added picture copy of instructions which mentions not using damper with light weight type hoods as damage can occur.
