I am looking for the mirror covers too, OEM or aftermarket. I am currently stationed in Iraq and my wife got hit by a truck and did not stop. The only thing that got messed up was the mirror cover and my windshield. In Florida the insurance company has to replace the windshield at no charge, but I would have to make a claim for the mirror cover. Any help would be greatly appreciated. SORRY FOR TAKING OVER THE THREAD.

Not going chrome myself, but thanks for posting the new availability.

I'd actually like to paint mine black to match the dark window tint and blacked out window frames and A-pillars.

yeah I want black not chrome. I know you could put some vinyl on your stock covers. would rake a little streching for the curve but it would be cool

I just saw the chrome ones and do not like them. I do think my car would look right with crome mirrors and nothing else chrome

You could get the chrome ones, scuff them down really well with some 500grit and get them resprayed...

I think my SW xB2 would look better with my mirrors sprayed trim black...

Sorry but scuffing up $149 mirror covers... is not a wise purchase, in my mind.

Buying a replacement pair for maybe $50 and then doing what you want with them, that is a better idea.

Vegan if you think so, pull those puppies off and shootem... Or get them wrapped.

*where in the heck is the shocked emoticon... still searching...there it is...* Nevermind then, bro!!! I didn't realize they were THAT expensive. Wow.

All I could suggest is trying to get OEM's.

I may respray my mirrors. I dunno. It takes a lot for me to do stuff to my car. Heck, I still haven't got a booboo I got from 2 weeks into ownership fixed.

not bad!!! And you wouldn't necessarily have to prime them. I'm not sure about your intentions, but if it was repaint, just wet sand with some 500grit and get to it!

My wife got a price of 230 plus paint and labor to put it on at our local dealer(Autoway Toyota/Scion of Clearwater). So, I think I will be getting in touch with Gordon.

Very wise choice. They shouldn't be too difficult to install either. Usually on mirrors you simply remove the triangular looking piece of plastic on the side of the door, and remove the couple of screws holding it on.
