Default Ok.... what am I missing?

Ok so I just bought the Anzo taillights for the xB2... And I'm replacing my TYC's (still in working condition surprisingly!)...

Anyways, I went to go swap them out today, but for the life of me I can't figure it out. I know I'm really not that dumb, but I would definitely love some help.

This is what the TYC's look like in the back:

And this is what the Anzo's look like:

So I have gotten as far as figuring out that the white connector coming from the taillight connects to that little black and red box... but the other two black connectors from the lights, I have no idea where they go!!

Please help me!

Pretend like those black things hanging out are bulbs cuz they kinda are... Take your old tail lights out, I believe there are three bolts holding them in. Then reuse the fixtures from them with your new ones, I forget the exact details of it, but jus take a good look at them and you'll figure it out. Dont feel stressed, I remember it took me about twenty minutes starin at it and then I was like OOOOOHHHHH that makes sense. Sorry about being vaige, lol, but I hope I helped a little.

Ok, so I definitely think I am getting closer to figuring this out... I realized that I don't have an adapter for the black plugs... so I need to get that. But I'm still puzzled by the black box...

Not too sure, might be a big ___ fuse box IDK, I did this mod over a year ago so Im fuzzy on the details. All I remember is pluggin in the box n tryin to find a place for it, its heavy so your gonna have to replace the preapplied tape it comes with cuz it doesnt hold. Jus go out n get some 3M. I drilled a very small hole through the cover you pull off to get to the tails so that I could sneak the wires on the box through. I put the cover back on when I was done and I mounted the box to the cover, I was paranoid about mounting it inside by the lights incase it fell, I didnt want it dangling and smacking around while driving, thought the wires might snap... Then again thats jus me, Im really paranoid.. If youd like I can post pics of how I have the box mounted..

Y, are you replacing the TYC, besides the fact that I know they are prone to going bad..?

Honestly, my TYC's are working just great for over the past year-ish that I have had them (granted they are my 3rd pair but w/e). But the reason that I am getting a new pair is because I just feel like going in a different direction with my car...

When you take out your old tails it'll make sense to you. It all plugs into the factory wiring to make a clean and simple install. From my understanding the black box is basically a ballist that steps down the voltage and prevents your lights from flickering(going bright dim bright dim). Make sure your lights work correctly before you bolt the tails back in. ;)
